Homer Foster
December 30, 1924 - November 30, 2009
Homer Foster, 84, died Monday at St. Joseph's Hospital.
The Erwin, TN native lived in Savannah since 1976. He was a Pilot in the U.S. Air Force and served in the U.S. Army. He was veteran of World War II and the Korean Conflict.
Surviving are a son and daughter in-law, Randy L. and Alice Foster of Augusta; a daughter, Linda Heath of Garden City; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Thursday from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel.
Graveside services will be held Friday at 11:00 a.m. in the Greenwich section of Bonaventure Cemetery.
Remembrances may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 201 Television Circle, Savannah, GA 31406
Linda, My prayers are with you. Your dad was very special and sweet. although I only knew him a short while, through his stories, I felt I'd know him a life time.It was indeed a pleasure to sit with him.God Bless you both. And please know I'm here for you for whatever your needs are. Love, Sandy
